Current location: Wild in Big Sur
Several of the other females her age are more assertive and have shown preferences for specific male condors. She spends quite a bit of time at Pinnacles National Monument, and we hope that one of the males there will take a shine to her. Pinnacles is full of excellent breeding habitat, and Loner would be one of the oldest condors resident there if she chose to relocate. Her preference for a sedate life might be easier to fulfill away from Big Sur, which is full of older, more aggressive condors.
